“DD” FORMLESS

(The Buddha) The Way is not in the sky; the Way is in the heart.

Knowing God does not come explicitly from seeing an image, for God is formless and without singular expression. When God presents an eternal nature or characteristic of the infinite expanse of innate possibilities, vision is not where the human has the chance to greet God, but internally as the awareness of holiness and infinite love present.

God is not reigning from the clouds, or in the sky, or in another realm and dimension, or far away from the thoughts of what many call a broken world. God is always present, in all places, everywhere, all the time. The problem with witnessing God does not come in the form of sight, but in the lack of ability for physical sight to see within the inner being.

Fear and desire are two areas where God is not found in experiential abundance. The freedom that comes when fear and desire are surrendered over is where God in abundance can be felt beyond the confines of what you believe feelings to be. The Way is of the heart, the etheric heart, the undeniable heart of God, which mankind shares when one chooses to let go of their attachment to fear and desire.

No one sees God for the first time, instead, they witness that God was never not present. Once someone finds the Way, they’re never the same again. Once someone stops looking up to the clouds for miracles and instead chooses to search for God despite the lack of miracles appearing present, by surrendering over their attachments and aversions, expectations, fears and desires.

The Way is another term for life lived through surrender, life lived through letting go of past programming which stated we are separated from that which created us. Life, God, the Way, all connote the same result, a connection with something utterly different than one thought possible before searching within.

The longer you hold onto fears and desires as the basis for existing, the longer you will choose to believe God is somewhere else. Fear and desire serve only to create separation from love, and it’s through inner-love and acceptance that one truly moves towards the Way, towards God, towards Life, towards transcendence.

I spent years looking for the face of God while hiding my own from truth. Once hiding was left behind and the Way was pursued, I saw the face of God in every mirror presented as someone else, something else, until suddenly, the separation and definition of “something else” lost its illusory meaning, and all melded into One.

We are never not connected to the Source. We are never too far gone to accept grace. We are never too lost to be found. The Way is a choice. The Way is a choice based on looking within and connecting with the spiritual heart. The Way, knowing God, enlightenment, actualizing as profound truth, all share one thing in common – and it’s never found by looking to the sky for answers, or by holding onto fears and desires as the pathway to freedom.
